Chill Out

What I'm encouraging the "law-abiding," gun-toting, hair-trigger-caressing American populace to do is this: Think before you shoot. Try to determine if there is another way to resolve the situation, which actually may not have even risen to the level of a "conflict." You have the right, in terms of many states' laws, to shoot to kill and ask questions later. But you don't have the MORAL right to do so, if you're really not in danger. The life you save by exercising restraint may be your own son's, or daughter's, or father's...
