A divine contradiction in terms(?)

"Biblical Interpretation and Christian Ethics." A concept that my parents always inculcated in their offspring was/is an oxymoron. I'm trying hard to be more rational, logical, sequential, dispassionate, detached, disinterested and objective about the subject. An endeavor which God in His infinite wisdom has rendered utterly futile!
