Where the hell is Winter?

This must be the Weirdest Wisconsin Winter EVER. The meteorologists forecast 40 degrees Fahrenheit - which is already ten degrees above normal for Feb. Then, day after day, the high temperature ends up being oh, say 48 F. The trees are confused; they send out little budlets too early. The birds are flying backwards, then forwards, then back again. Ice fishers plunge through the dangerously thin layer. It's one for the record books, or at least it was in January. Probably a big warm repeat for this month too. Well, nice to know that Human-caused Climate Change is a massive hoax and we can all go about our business. Me? I'm investing my savings in an outdoor Palm Tree plantation we're starting up in Green Bay.
